Certification standards
Each GFT level has published requirements including coursework, portfolio evidence, and — starting at Level 2 — human review by a certified reviewer. Credentials are awarded only after all requirements are successfully completed.

Payment provides access to the GFT certification process. Certification is awarded only after the candidate successfully completes all published requirements. Payment does not guarantee certification.
Not a state teaching license or academic degree
GFT credentials are professional recognitions issued by GayleSolutions They are not a state-issued teaching license, an academic degree, or a substitute for either.

Code of ethics
Certified practitioners commit to honest representation of student work, protection of student privacy, and use of GFT tools only within the scope of their training and credential level.
Academic integrity & AI-use rules
Portfolio evidence, lesson plans, and assessments submitted for certification must be authored by the practitioner. AI tools may be used to draft or refine language but the pedagogical content, judgment, and evidence must be the practitioner's own; reviewers may request disclosure.
Student-data prohibition
Practitioners must not upload student personally identifiable information — including names, photos, contact information, or identifiable audio/video — to any part of the platform. Automated PII scanning warns before submission; violations may result in evidence removal and, in serious cases, credential action.
Credential verification
Credentials issued by GFT may be independently verified via the public credential verification tool. Fraudulent representation of GFT credentials is grounds for revocation.
SFI validation status
The Student Formation Index (SFI) is a research-grounded formative instrument. Ongoing K-12 validation is disclosed on the Research & Origins page. SFI results are intended to inform practitioner and school reflection; they are not designed for high-stakes accountability, admissions, or hiring decisions.
