The GFT Afterschool Certified Formation Guide credential is a focused, afterschool-specific training path — not a substitute for, and not a step on, the core GFT Level 0–5 professional certification ladder. It's designed to get afterschool staff ready to deliver a GFT Afterschool cycle well, quickly.

How this fits the wider GFT credential system
Formation Guide sits in a separate program-delivery authorization family. It runs parallel to the GFT Level 0–5 professional certification ladder and never confers, substitutes for, or advances Level 1–5 status.
Two site roles do draw on the ladder: a Lead Site Facilitator is expected to hold an active GFT Certified Practitioner (Level 2) credential, and an Adult Trainer delivering train-the-trainer work is expected to hold an active GFT Certified Facilitator (Level 4) credential.

The GFT Afterschool Program is newly launched. No outcome data, effectiveness claims, testimonials, or participation statistics are published on this site, and none will be until completed pilot cycles produce them. Program imagery is representative and will be replaced with consent-cleared photography from live sites. Student formation data is handled under the GFT platform privacy standards, including parent/guardian consent and de-identified reporting.
