GFT Afterschool Program

How growth is measured — and kept private

Every GFT Afterschool student receives a baseline and final Student Formation Index (SFI) rating across the cycle's domains, recorded through structured Formation Guide observation — never a standardized test. Students also build a portfolio of the work they actually made during the cycle: sketches, builds, reflections, and capstone materials.

No individually identifiable student data is stored anywhere on the GFT platform. Students are tracked using a private program code, not their name or other identifying information, and families receive a plain-language Growth Report rather than raw assessment data.

How SFI scoring works across GFT

The GFT Afterschool Program is newly launched. No outcome data, effectiveness claims, testimonials, or participation statistics are published on this site, and none will be until completed pilot cycles produce them. Program imagery is representative and will be replaced with consent-cleared photography from live sites. Student formation data is handled under the GFT platform privacy standards, including parent/guardian consent and de-identified reporting.

We are onboarding a limited number of founding pilot sites for the first GFT Afterschool cycles.
